The Rocket Casting Egg is a wooden casting egg with Wings. In Rhode Island fishermen go to craft stores and buy wooden eggs and through wire them and screw a screw or nail in it to hang a lure’s hook on it. All this so a spinning reel guy can attach a fly or small rubber worm to compete with the fly fishermen when the fish are very finicky. Great for Stripers chasing Worm Hatches and or Albies chasing Sand Eels. The cool thing about this one is that it fly’s like a rocket, when it hits the water it is weighted to right itself with pin up so not to drag and catch debris. Lastly it creates a wake with it’s wings when reeled in. Just let your imagination go. Think of a big fluffy white fly behind it’s wake on a flat calm surface.
